Attention to detail is important to us. Maine Root is a Fair-Trade Company. Why is this important?
Well, it means that the farmers in Brazil who provide the organic sugar used in these drinks are treated fairly. They are paid a fair wage. And the Maine Root representatives visit them in Brazil and invest in their community.
Organic sugar from Brazil is used in these beverages. No High fructose corn syrup here.
Maine Root Cold Drink Choices
These beverages are non-alcoholic though several are excellent when used as mixers! Most are non-caffeinated. And all of these handcrafted brews and sodas are delicious!
A few of the most popular Maine Root flavors follow. It’s likely we have them – but keep in mind, they’re not necessarily guaranteed in stock:
Root Beer – Where it all began. Founder, Matt, couldn’t figure out why all of the pizza being made where he was working was organic, but the drinks weren’t! Good question. And he found a way to make it happen!!
Sarsaparilla – Lighter than the Root Beer. A little heavier on the wintergreen flavor. And just as thirst-quenching!
Blueberry Soda – How could he not make Blueberry Soda with a name like Maine Root Soda. Blueberry is the state’s official fruit.
Mexicane Cola – If you make soda you have to make your own version of the classic! Rumor has it one of these is never enough. One of the few caffeinated products they make. Also available in lower-calorie versions.
Ginger Spicy Brew – Maine Root tells us that they let the wicked spicy flavor of ginger root loose to mingle with organic evaporated cane juice, purified water, and a few spices. It’s enough to wake up anybody’s taste buds!
Fair Trade Lemonade – Their slogan for this one says it best – Tart with a heart – It’s won its fair share of awards. And a cold one would be perfect about now!
